 We have already heard about AI in many Hollywood movies like I Robot and Ablivion... But do we exactly know what Artificial Intelligence is and how far it can go?

What is AI ?

Artificial intelligence (AI), the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. This definition is often ascribed to Marvin Minsky and John McCarthy from the 1950s, who were also known as the fathers of the field.The term is frequently applied to the project of developing systems endowed with the intellectual processes characteristic of humans, such as the ability to reason, discover meaning, generalize, or learn from past experience. Since the development of the digital computer in the 1940s, it has been demonstrated that computers can be programmed to carry out very complex tasks.

This is what makes Al unique Like the humans study their environment, draw inferences. and then interact with it accordingly, an Al also successfully attempts to interpret the environment and act

Al-enabled systems are designed to observe and react to their surroundings. They not only perceive the environment and take actions accordingly but also keep in mind lisn't it ironic that I just used mind for artificial intelligence?) the situations that might come up in the near future.

Now it is our turn to take Al one step ahead and hone it, so that governments can use it in disaster management. • With efficient and 24*7 Al & automation, human jobs will soon be replaced by machines in the futures.
